Happy Monday!

Happy Monday! We are back at school and starting our last quarter.  This Thursday there will be a half day because of parent/teacher conferences.  Please sign up in the office.  Friday there is no school for the Easter Break.

Because of the short week we will not having spelling words or Spelling City assignments.  There WILL be Reading Plus.

5th Graders have reading packets due tomorrow.  Everyone will be getting a new reading packet and they will be due on April 10th.

In writing, the students were assigned a WPP online assignment to watch the elaboration techniques in essays lesson and to do the exercises.  We will begin writing a new essay this week.

Spring Break

For our last day of school before spring break we had a math scavenger hunt looking for geometric shapes and figures outside.  It was a lot of fun!

Please remember that Reading Plus is due on Sunday at midnight.  No Reading Plus for next week. Have a wonderful spring break!

Success!

Praise God that our Kids Care Health Fair was a huge success!  Praise God for all of the support and participation that we had.  I am extremely proud of my students.  Their hard work definitely paid off!!! Thanks to all who helped to make a difference in our community.

The 5th graders recieved a new reading packet this week and it will be due on March 31st.

Health Fair Tonight!!!

Our Bible verse for this week is Psalm 23.  The students only have to write it 3 times.
