Beautiful Music

WOW! I was SO proud of our whole school on Saturday morning.  What beautiful music and praises they made to the Lord our God.  I loved the enthusiasm of young people boldly singing to their Creator.  Thanks especially to Ms. Elliott for such a wonderful program and working so hard with our students.

Today we took our math facts quizzes for the quarter grade.  I am so pleased with their progress.  Please continue to work with them at home.

This week because of ITBS testing we will not have any spelling words, definitions or Spellingcity assignments.  They WILL still have memory verse and Reading Plus.

By Friday, their 5 paragraph opinion essays are due.  We have worked on every part in class. They are now just working on the final draft.  I will be sending home a rubric with them.

Our memory verse this week is: "It was by faith that Abraham obeyed when God called him to leave home and go to another land that God would give him as his inheritance. He went without knowing where he was going." Hebrews 11:8

Much of our time this week will be spent on ITBS testing.  Please make sure that your child is well rested and has a good breakfast and lunch.
