Successful PIE Night

Praise God for a successful and fun PIE night. Our theme was literacy and the librarian from the Pueblo Lamb Library along with the Pueblo Firefighters who read and interacted with participants made it a great night. Literacy activities, goody bags, free books and refreshments of pie had the students and parents all requesting when the next PIE night would be.  Thank you to all of the volunteers who helped make the event a positive one for our community.

Parents don't forget that tomorrow is a half day and students will need to be picked up at noon.

The Tabernacle

PIE Night Tomorrow!

Don't forget that PIE (parent involvement in education) Literacy Night is tomorrow at 6:30pm. Please invite your family and friends!  Students make sure to bring your reading projects in the morning. Reading tests will be on Wednesday for their classroom reading books.

Please remember that on Thursday your child will need to be picked up at noon. We are having a half day that day for teacher-in-service training.

Ribbon Cutting Successful

Praise God for the wonderful Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting Event for Daystar. We are excited to be a part of our community and we pray that we will make a difference. Thank you to the students, parents, board members, volunteers and supporters for helping making this event such a success!

Getting Ready!

Today we sang, cleaned and colored to get ready for the big ribbon cutting event for tomorrow.  We are excited for the community to come to our school and help us celebrate the re-opening of the Daystar Christian School.
