New Test Policy for 5th-7th Graders

What a beautiful day!  The students really enjoyed the awesome weather and blue skies. The 1st and 2nd graders are enjoying their new play structure and tomorrow the larger playground installation gets started.

5th-7th grade parents, the students were made aware today of a new test policy. In the past, I have let their tests be open book and open notes. This has seemed to enable them and they admit that they have not been studying for their tests. So the new policy, to help prepare them for high school, will be closed book tests. They will be able to bring in one page of notes on a separate piece of paper.

Tomorrow the 5th -7th grade students will have a history test and all students will be having their memory verse quizzes. Possible homework for 5th-7th graders is also: English workbook and writing outline.

The Bible verses for this week:
1st & 2nd graders:
“But Moses told the people, “Don’t be afraid. Just stand still and watch the Lord rescue you today.” Exodus 14:13
5th – 7th graders:
I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours. But when you are praying, first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your sins, too.” Mark 11:24-25
Our quote for today is from Lebron James, "I'm going to use all my tools, my God-given ability, and make the best life I can with it."
