Our school is the only school in the RMC that has the Reading Plus program. It is an incredible program and is a wonderful addition to our curriculum at Daystar. They have also recently added some new reading strategy lessons. We will be making use of this program in the classroom, but your child may also want to use it to review certain concepts or to improve their reading comprehension. http://skillscoach.readingplus.com/ HINT: On their reading tests on Thursday they will be asked a question about theme.
Today we also started working on our research papers. Please remember that their dioramas are due on the last day of the 1st quarter which is October 15th.
