Snow Day Assignments

Hi students!  Even though we have a snow day today, I didn't want you sitting around bored, so I am going to put up some things for you to do today.

Our Bible verses for the week:

By Thursday verse should be written 5X and illustrated and colored. (1^st grade only has to write 1X)

Grades 1-5

“A child will be born to us. God will give a son to us. He will be responsible for leading the people.” Isaiah 9:6

Grades 6-8

“But let all who take refuge in you rejoice; let them sing joyful praises forever. Spread your protection over them, that all who love your name may be filled with joy.” Psalms 5:11

Writing: For a grade, tomorrow bring in your thesis statement (what your paper is going to be about) and the three reasons you chose that specific hero written neatly on a separate sheet of paper, in complete sentences. You will be graded on neatness, grammar and spelling. To choose your hero and to find out more about them go to http://www.cmohs.org/ and choose from the living recipients.
