Teamwork

The definition for teamwork is: The process of working collaboratively with a group of people in order to achieve a goal.  Communication, respect, collaboration, problem solving and having a common goal are all needed to have successful teamwork.

To demonstrate how we need to continue working together to make our PBL successful, we did an exercise with puzzles. We tried working in teams - using different techniques to see what worked the best.  The groups realized that it was much easier to finish the puzzle when they were allowed to communicate with each other and encourage each other.

Our quote for today is from Michael Jordan, "Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence win championships."

  1. Wonderful lesson. That works in families as well. Right? Thanks for using the classroom a training ground for the home.
