We took our math facts practice test today and the students were sent home with a letter explaining the process. Tonight they will have a little bit of math homework as they work on their math facts. 1st and 2nd graders need to complete 30 facts on both sides and 5th grade and above 100 facts on both sides.The students could practice math facts at http://www.mathplayground.com/ASB_Index.html.
We talked about why writer's write today. Ask your student that question and I am sure they will give you some great answers!
I also sent home an open house invitation. Please make plans to attend and invite your friends and family. There will also be an ice cream float fundraiser. It is this Sunday at 2:00 p.m.
