Last Week of the Quarter

It is hard to believe that we are almost done with the first quarter of school!  Grades will be tallied after Thursday classes, and report cards will go home at parent/teacher conferences on Thursday afternoon of next week. I will send home a sign up sheet this week.

I sent home picture proofs today. Please send back your order form and money to be paid to Lauricella Photography by the end of the week.

5th-7th graders will have their New Testament order of books quiz tomorrow.  They will also need to turn in their Circus narratives for a final grade on Thursday.

Bible verses for the week:
1st & 2nd graders
“Then God said, “Let the water be filled with living things. And let birds fly in the air above the earth.” He created every living thing that moves in the sea. God also made every bird that flies….Evening passed, and morning came. This was the fifth day.” Genesis 1:20-23

5th – 7th graders
“He had to become as human as His sisters and brothers so that when the time came, He could become a merciful and faithful high priest of God, called to reconcile a sinful people. Since He has also been tested by suffering, He can help us when we are tested.” Romans 2:17-18

Our quote for today is from Douglas MacArthur, "Duty, Honor, Country. Those three hallowed words reverently dictate what you ought to be, what you can be, what you will be."
