Today we had Mrs. Harris, the assistant superintendent for the RMC, in our classroom today as a guest. She commented that the students were very bright and she loved looking at their stories during writer's workshop. She also presented Mrs. Velbis with an award for the best PBL CHERISH project idea for the year - that was a nice surprise!

We read a book in writer's workshop about ideas. So today our quote for today is from Marie Curie, “Be less curious about people and more curious about ideas.”
