In Class Project

Bible verse for this week:

"But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord." Luke 2:10-11

New reading packets for 4th graders, next page for 3rd graders and finished packet for 5th graders will all be due on Friday, May 8th.

Don't forget to bring in a bag of sod on Thursday for our Earth Day celebration.

Please note that our DAS spelling bee is this Friday, May 1st at 12:30pm.  Parents are welcome to attend.

We will also be starting a new in-class project:

Washington D.C. Group Project

Posterboard checklist:

Name of the memorial

*Paragraph on who built or designed it – with one picture – hand drawn or printed

*Paragraph on the history of when it was built

*Paragraph on why it was built

Details of how you can see it – hours, prices, location, etc..

3 different pictures of the memorial – hand drawn and colored

3 different pictures printed of the memorial – could be parts or details about it

*Need to send away for brochures

Presentation:

Each person will present one paragraph* to the class
