Today in writing we continued our talk on making good endings to our stories. We also introduced the concept of alliteration. The students are so creative - ask them what their story was about today.
Tomorrow the 5th-7th graders have essay maps and reading packets due. Next week they will have a test on their reading book. To help them study, please ask them what the theme of their reading book is and support for their ideas.
Our quote today is from Oprah Winfrey, "Be thankful for what you have; you'll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don't have, you will never, ever have enough."
