Today we made a wave machine! We were able to see "ripples." Ask your student if the "waves" were longer or shorter when there were more. In writer's workshop we have started a poetry unit. The students are writing different kinds of poetry and are reading them to the class. We talked about putting feeling and intonation into our voices when we are reading. Today they worked on a Christmas acrostic poem.
