A Child Is Born

Today, we worked on a poster titled, "A Child Is Born."  The students did an amazing job.  Here is Neena's creative version.  

In math the 4th graders took their mid-chapter test and the 3rd graders will take their chapter test tomorrow.  The 5th graders worked on common denominators in fractions.

Today in social studies we continued studying about Jamestown.  And in writing we worked on writing limericks and shape poems.  The students are also taking turns writing a narrative on WPP online for a grade.

In reading we reviewed for the reading tests that the students will take tomorrow.  Tomorrow their weekly assignments are due.  Please return permission slips tomorrow for the field trip next week.
