Today I handed out a new writing project that is due Friday, December 12th. The picture for today as the assignment and the rubric.
Today we did new math lessons - 3rd graders are still working on dividing, 4th graders started figuring out to find a common denominator in fractions and 5th graders are adding and subtracting fractions with unlike denominators.
In social studies we are studying about Jamestown. In reading we are reviewing our reading books and packets for a reading test on Friday.
Tomorrow math assignments and one handwriting lesson are due.
Our quote for today is from Anna Quindelin, “Books are the plane, and the train, and the road. They are the destination, and the journey. They are home.”
