Today we took our homophone quiz and an open book social studies quiz. On Friday we will take our informational text feature quiz. Students have been working on their reading packets and spelling words and definitions.
We also went over the scientific method and different ideas for the science projects. Please remember that their Science Project Proposal Form is due on Tuesday. Here are some great websites for some ideas: http://foo dscience.psu.edu/youth/youth, http://www.sciencebuddies.org/science-fair-projects/Intro-Cooking-Food-Science.shtml, http://www.sciencekids.co.nz/projects/food.html, http://www.all-science-fair-projects.com/category129.html.
We were able to finish our day with a great message from Mrs. Gonzalez for our week of prayer. What a blessing!
Our quote for today is from Albert Einstein, “Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. The important thing is to not stop questioning.”
