Incredible Bob on October 24

On Friday, October 24, Incredible Bob the juggler will help us kick off Red Ribbon Week.  The Indigo Adventist School will also be joining us for the day in friendly soccer games and making posters for drug awareness.  We hope to win the school contest: http://redribbon.org/contest/.

Tomorrow the 4th graders will have their Chapter 3 Test in math. Please study!
Tomorrow we will also be having a quiz on comparative and superlative adjectives.  Here is a fun way to study: https://www.superteachertools.net/jeopardyx/jeopardy-review-game-from-com.php?gamefile=http://www.superteachertools.com/jeopardy/usergames/Feb201108/jeopardy1298346940.txt#.VDVZa_ldWSo.

We are continuing to work on our opinion essays and reading response journals in class. They are due on Friday.

The end of the grading period is on Friday.  Parent/teacher conferences are scheduled for next Thursday.  Please call the school office to schedule an appointment.

Our quote for today is from Bob Talber, “Teaching kids to count is fine, but teaching them what counts is best."
